Publishing is one half of it. The other half is the company behind the product — the pipeline in MRR, the contracts, the renewals, the recurring revenue you have to explain to a board, and the ledger it all has to agree with. Allwis does that part too: ARR as at any date with a bridge that reconciles to the cent, revenue recognised in the period it is earned with a deferred revenue rollforward that ties back to the accounts, recurring billing, and group consolidation once one company becomes three.
