1. Live on day one
These are running, with your data in them, by the end of the first business day:
- CRM and sales pipeline
- Jobs and proposals
- Timesheets
- Client portals
- Website and forms
- Helpdesk
- AI invoice processing
- Chart of accounts, opened at the right balances
2. What we bring across, and how
There are three ways in, and which one applies depends on the system you are coming from. The distinction is worth stating plainly rather than flattening it into a single claim: two systems connect and pull straight across, two more have file formats we have built specific handling for, and anything else comes in by CSV.
| From | How | What comes across |
|---|---|---|
| Xero | Connect | Chart of accounts, contacts, opening balances and invoices over the API. Historical profit & loss and journals in the history step, and account transactions from a report export. |
| Zoho Books | Connect | Chart of accounts, contacts and opening balances over the API. |
| MYOB | Guided export | Chart of accounts, contacts and trial balance from MYOB Business or AccountRight. Transaction history from the General ledger detail report. We read MYOB's own account types, tax codes and header accounts — no re-mapping by hand. |
| QuickBooks | Guided export | Chart of accounts, customer and vendor lists, and trial balance. Our column and account-type detection is built against QuickBooks Online exports. |
| Any other system | CSV | Anything that can export a CSV. Columns are detected and mapped for you, with a review step before anything is imported. |
Payroll is separate. Employee records and leave balances come in by file import, and are onboarded after day one along with the rest of payroll — see section 3.
You choose the cutover date and how much history to bring. That single decision is made at the start and pre-fills every later step, so opening balances, transactions and invoices all line up against the same date rather than being answered piecemeal.
3. What is onboarded after day one
Some things should not be rushed into a single day, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise:
- Bank reconciliation. Connecting feeds, setting rules and getting the first reconciliation clean.
- Closing the books and tax filings. Period locks, tax settings and your first close in the new system.
- Payroll. Employees, leave balances, pay calendars and the first pay run, verified against your last run in the old system.
Your full transaction history stays where it is. Keep the old system read-only for as long as you want it for reference — we bring the balances, not the archaeology.
4. How the guarantee works
Everything in section 1 is live within one business day, or our customer success team does the setup with you at no charge. There are two paths to the same place:
- Self-serve. AI-guided onboarding walks you through each step, and you go at your own pace.
- With us. Our customer success team runs the setup alongside you. This is free — it is not a paid implementation tier, and there are no consultants to engage.
The guarantee covers the day-one scope in section 1. It deliberately does not cover the items in section 3, which are onboarded afterwards at whatever pace gets them right.
